Expert Installation & Field Note
Based on our shop experience specializing in heavy-duty brakes since 1985:
- Alignment: Ensure meticulous alignment with the booster pushrod and firewall linkage before mounting. A misaligned pushrod restricts the piston from returning to its fully open “at rest” position, keeping the compensating ports closed and locking up the front brakes.
- Bench Bleeding: Always complete a thorough bench-bleeding routine until all air bubbles vanish completely from both ports prior to final vehicle assembly to protect your internal seals from running dry.
