The BD Diesel 6L80 Roadmaster transmission package enhances the durability and operational life of both stock and lightly modified trucks. This comprehensive assembly features a remanufactured valve body equipped with a new clutch select and TCC regulator valves, effectively eliminating sluggish or inconsistent shifting issues. The inclusion of a deep sump oil pan helps manage heat buildup and reduces clutch burnup, ensuring reliable performance under demanding conditions. Each package comes with a brand-new ProForce torque converter with a billet cover, designed to prevent common converter failures and provide consistent power transfer.
This transmission package includes a machined bellhousing and pump surface to minimize wear and pressure loss, along with new OEM clutches and steels for optimal friction and engagement. The updated GM forward piston prevents cracks often seen on OEM components, while the pressure regulator valve maintains proper line pressure for smooth operation. Additionally, TEHCM pressure switch seals and discs are replaced, and the TEHCM unit is cleaned and tested for reliability.
