What is needed for an inspection?
All that is needed is the vehicle and a current copy of your insurance card. Cards on phone are acceptable. Policy expiration date must be shown.
Are vehicle inspections still required in Texas?
No, begining Jan 1st 2025 vehicle inspections will still be required to renew vehicle registration.
When will emissions testing begin in Bexar county.
Emissions testing will begin no later than Nov 7th 2026 and will cost $18.50.
