This DFC component is part of the 100% Outright Program—no core return or deposit required. Engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications for direct-fit performance. Constructed from high-quality carbon steel, these brake shoes are dipped in high-temperature anti-rust corrosion black paint to ensure durability and corrosion resistance in demanding conditions. They are field and lab tested to guarantee reliability and long-lasting performance, making them suitable for heavy-duty applications where safety and dependability are critical.
The brake shoes feature a premium bonded or riveted friction material, in accordance with original equipment specifications, ensuring secure attachment and optimal braking performance. The precision arc grinding process ensures a perfect fit between the shoe and drum, reducing vibrations and uneven wear. The semi-metallic friction material is designed to provide consistent stopping power and heat resistance, ideal for vehicles with GVW ratings between 9,400 and 14,500 pounds, such as the Workhorse W42.
Expert Installation & Field Note: Drawing from our shop experience specializing in heavy-duty brakes since 1985, we recommend verifying pushrod alignment before final mounting to prevent internal cup damage.
