Hardware Note: The pedal rod is pre-installed. However, some original mounting studs or flange nuts may need to be cleaned and reused from your old booster depending on your specific chassis year.
Sealing: Always use the new Oval O-rings provided in the box. Reusing old seals is the primary cause of hydraulic leaks between the booster and the backup pump motor.
Pushrod Depth: Verify that the single eyelet flat end matches your existing linkage precisely. Improper rod geometry can lead to incorrect pedal height and “spongy” feel.
