Pushrod Alignment: Proper pushrod alignment is critical on the newer Silverado chassis. The short single eyelet rod is pre-installed to factory specifications. Ensure the eyelet pin is lubricated with high-temp brake grease to prevent premature wear on the pedal pivot.
Hydraulic Seal Integrity: New Oval O-rings are provided and must be used. Reusing old seals is the primary cause of hydraulic fluid bypass at the pump motor flange.
