• The “Diesel Hard Pedal”: On these 5.7L diesel platforms, a hard pedal usually indicates the nitrogen charge in the accumulator has depleted or internal spool valves are sticking.
• Hydraulic Flush: Old power steering fluid in these 40-year-old systems is often highly abrasive. Always flush with fresh fluid to protect the new 100% O.E. quality seals.
• Bracket Verification: This unit includes the mounting bracket. Verify that your firewall studs match the 10 x 1.25mm thread configuration for a direct bolt-on experience.
