Based on our shop experience specializing in heavy-duty brakes since 1985:

Legacy Conversion: If you are replacing an older style Hydromax (Casting #2771424 or #2771819) with a 1-pin flow switch, you MUST purchase Flow Switch Adapter SKU 529999.
Hardware Note: New Oval O-rings for the pump motor are included. Ensure the mounting surfaces are clean before installation. Some mounting studs or flange nuts may need to be reused from your original unit.
Pushrod Alignment: Verify the Long Forked rod orientation matches your original pedal linkage. Proper geometry is vital to prevent side-loading internal piston seals.
Core Refund: Return your old, like-for-like core within 90 days to receive a $50.00 refund.
