Power Steering Fluid Purge: Ford Super Duty Hydroboost units are extremely sensitive to debris in the hydraulic circuit. Always perform a complete power steering fluid flush before installing to protect internal spool valves from sticking or premature wear.
Mounting Stud Torquing: Check that the firewall mounting studs (M8-1.25 thread) are properly torqued and that the pushrod aligns cleanly with the brake pedal pivot arm without binding.
